What we do

Island-wide feeding and welfare, veterinary partnerships, emergency shelter, and rehabilitation — including custom wheelchairs.

Food

Food, welfare and shelter

Feed the free-roaming cats and dogs around the Island of Sal.
Work closely with the island’s veterinary team to identify and seek treatment for sick cats and dogs.
Provide a secure emergency shelter to keep dogs safe and allow recovery.

Vet

Veterinary care and neutering

Provide tick, flea and worming treatments for cats and dogs on the island.
Identify unneutered cats and dogs and arrange neutering through the local veterinary to reduce the population of feral animals.

Rehab

Rehabilitation and rehoming

Provide wheelchairs for dogs that have lost the use of their legs — designed by a trustee and built by the organisation — reducing the risk of euthanasia for otherwise healthy dogs.
Where possible and suitable, rehoming into permanent and loving forever homes.
