Our mission
Animal welfare and relief on Sal — for the injured, lost, malnourished and abused, and where suitable, a new home.
To promote and provide animal welfare and relief to the injured, lost, malnourished, abused cats and dogs — both domestic and wild — on the Island of Sal (Cape Verde) and where suitable, rehoming. To promote prevention of cruelty towards captured animals.
We are a group that has independently joined together to rehome and care for the beautiful dogs and cats on Sal island, Cape Verde.
We want to spread the word that these dogs need our help, need our support and need our hearts with them.

Alongside other Sal welfare groups, we work where animals already are — beaches, communities, hotels — with emergency shelter when recovery needs a safe space.
